Catriona is committed to empowering the nation’s business, community and sporting leaders with the tools needed to become exceptional communicators.
She is highly regarded for her tough but enthusiastic and encouraging approach to training with the success of each individual her primary focus.
Catriona’s experience includes communication for leadership, media training, public speaking-presentation training, story telling, corporate writing and strategic media issues and crisis management.

Experience
Catriona has 25 year’s experience with News Limited and Channel Seven. She has worked as a columnist and specialist sportswriter at the Daily Telegraph and was an expert member of Channel Seven’s Sunrise weekly sports panel.
Throughout her journalistic career, Catriona worked on the news, health, finance, courts, police and social sections of all of News Limited’s Sydney-based newspapers including the Australian, Sunday Telegraph and Daily Telegraph.
She held the position of group swimming writer for News Limited between 1997-2001 heading the company’s national coverage team at countless major international events including the 1998 Commonwealth Games and 2000 Olympics. Catriona also established the award-winning junior sports lift-out Sports Stars.
Catriona is co-chief of staff for the Australian Olympic Committee’s digital content team for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. She was a member of the media team for the postponed 2020 Tokyo Games. Catriona has worked in public relations, lectured in media at APM Training Institute, regularly works as a corporate master of ceremonies and as a panellist on ABC Grandstand radio.

Personal
Catriona has been a regular interviewer, interviewee and presenter, first appearing in the public eye as a 16-year-old when she represented Australian school children in Russia for International Year of Peace alongside Oscar-nominated actress Jacki Weaver.
She is a board member of Clean Up Australia, an active charity campaigner with Fairy Sparkle from the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation and a volunteer leader for Scouts Australia.Catriona has used her journalist skills to assist the Humpty Dumpty Foundation with their work in Timor-Leste accompanying a group of surgeons to the region as part of a health mission for children on several occasions.
As the daughter of an Olympian, Catriona has been sports mad since she was a kid, playing representative hockey during her teenage years. She is the mother of two daughters.
